NFL RPF
I am a massive Vikings fan. We’re lucky because the Vikings are extremely good to their fans and we get regular looks into their awesome locker room dynamic via Brian Robison’s “96 Questions” series, along with other series like “Words With Teammates”. In 96 Questions, defensive end Brian Robison (the eponymous #96) asks his teammates a new question every week of the season, from “who on the team is the best cuddler?”, to “who on the team has the best legs?”, to “who on the team would you most/least like to date your sister?”, and so, so much more. The series is so much fun, and pretty much every single guy on the team is a hoot. There’s so much respect and teasing and humor and brotherly love flying around the locker room, and it makes my heart grow three sizes. :) I’ve put together a master episode list for 96 Questions with handy-dandy links, and it’s here.
I honestly love pretty much every guy on the team. I tried listing my top favorites, and once it got to 20 names I gave up. Probably my top five, chosen with great agony, are Teddy Bridgewater, Jet McKinnon, Everson Griffen, Stefon Diggs, and Eric Kendricks. (Sadly two of those guys left this offseason – Teddy to the Jets and Jet to the 49ers – but I will love them forever, and am definitely rooting for them to do well on their new teams.) I’m only requesting Teddy/Stefon in this exchange, but feel free to expand the cast to include additional Vikings if you like! I love ensemble fic and any additional Vikings you might use as background characters would thrill me. I’m extremely easy to please in this fandom. :)

Stefon is a hoot. So confident and funny and irreverent! Yet simultaneously he’s an incredibly hard worker, a real family guy (including stepping up for his younger brothers when his dad died), and a big team player (despite the way he teases his teammates). I love his stylish fashion sense, and his dance moves, and his irrepressible laugh. And of course the Miracle made me cry with happy, happy tears.
Meanwhile, I adore Teddy. He’s such a genuine, sweet, funny guy, and he’s had such a great attitude after his horrific knee dislocation. It takes a special person to be a beloved team leader even while you’re sidelined for two seasons. Especially this past year when we went to the playoffs and had the Miracle and were trying to get to our home-stadium Super Bowl, and Teddy had to stay on the sidelines and be a loyal cheerleader, when every bone in his body must have been screaming for him to get out on the field. I’m still heartsick over the way his Vikings story ended, though of course I’m rooting for him to have an amazing 2018 on the Jets.
So I would love to read about a universe where Stefon and Teddy were happy and in love (and preferably playing great on the field!) I’d be equally pleased to read alternate universes (like, if the injury didn’t happen, or if Teddy had been re-signed this offseason and Kirk had gone elsewhere), or current-universe (perhaps the two of them fell in love during Teddy’s rehab? Or futurefic in which they’re navigating a long-distance relationship during the 2018 season?)
I’m not wedded to any specific prompts, if you have an alternate idea, as long as Teddy and Stefon are happy and in love. But here are a few ideas:
• Teddy didn’t get injured. The 2017 season unfolds the way it did, except it’s Teddy who throws the Miracle to Stefon, Teddy who leads the team to the NFC Championship, and in this universe they win. Either established-relationship with Teddy and Stefon, or friends-to-lovers in which they fall in love along the way.
• Teddy and Stefon win the Super Bowl together. How does it happen? What’s the preparation and/or the game like? How do they celebrate together?
• Teddy and Stefon didn’t fall in love while they were on the Vikings together. But now that they’re no longer teammates, Stefon finds himself looking at Teddy with new eyes. They’re offseason-training together, or going on vacation together, and one thing leads to another…
• Coming-out fic! How does it happen? Do they kiss in the endzone after winning the Super Bowl? Are they facing off in a Vikings-Jets Super Bowl next February and one of them lets it slip in a pre- or post-game interview? Does Stefon refuse to sign an extension with the Vikings and become a free agent in order to rejoin Teddy in 2019? Does one of them attend the other’s game during their bye week wearing their boyfriend’s jersey?
• Outside-POV from one/more of their teammates who gradually realizes that Teddy and Stefon are an item. (How? What are the give-aways? Are Teddy and Stefon even trying to be circumspect, or are their teammates just clueless that a real romance is being camouflaged by all the bromances and team bonding around them?) I love slow-reveal and outside-POV.
• Anything that incorporates their relationship into a 96 Questions episode.
• I love The Amazing Race, so Teddy and Stefon going on TAR together would be amazing! I’d especially love a story in which they fell in love over the course of the race, but established relationship would also be awesome.
Fandom-specific DNWs:
• Injury-related angst. Passing mentions are okay, or fic set during Teddy’s injury years, but I’m already heartbroken about Teddy’s injury and what it did to his career. So a focus on the injury and/or a lot of injury-related angst wouldn’t be my jam.
• Mentions and/or inclusions of Teddy’s girlfriend and/or Stefon’s daughter. I prefer my sports RPF ships to be single!AU.
• Any homophobic reactions. The current Vikings locker room is very chill and comfortable in its masculinity, and I don’t think it’d be IC for them to react badly. (Except for Mike Priefer, the special-teams coach. Please leave him out entirely, because I dislike him greatly.) Though of course the team would tease, because they tease about everything. ;)
• Mentions and/or inclusions of Ben Roethlisberger, Adrian Peterson, the Washington team, and/or any other NFL players with allegations or convictions of sexual assault and/or domestic violence. I don’t care about minor drug allegations, though (so for example including Odell would be fine).

Alien Anthropologist Living Undercover While Studying Oblivious Humans
What is it like to study humanity from the outside? What are things that humanity takes for granted that look exceptionally strange to the anthropologist’s culture? What aspect of humanity does the anthropologist’s scholarly project focus on? Are there any different academic norms in alien-anthropology than there are in ours? What’s their cover story? Just how oblivious are the humans?
I’m not wedded to any specific prompts, if you have an alternate idea. But here are a few of my ideas:
• What does a day in the life of the alien anthropologist look like? What are their daily struggles/the hardest things to get used to when living undercover among humans?
• Who are the oblivious humans in this equation? Are they coworkers the anthropologist encounters while using their undercover identity? (What job might the anthropologist be working to maintain their cover?) What slip does the anthropologist make that demonstrates just how oblivious the humans are?
• Does something happen that blows the anthropologist’s cover, or forces them to drop it in order to save the day/the oblivious humans/their own skin?
• What human things does the anthropologist end up rather liking? (Cats? Rain? Passive-aggressiveness? Malicious compliance in a retail setting? Nutella?)
• The anthropologist’s favorite human accidentally stumbles into the truth about the anthropologist, and now they have to escape/outwit/defeat an enemy (either human or alien).
• The anthropologist and her wife (an anthropologist – or archaeologist? – on a different planet) swap stories about the strange turns their week has taken.
• I would also love a story written in the form of an academic article the anthropologist is submitting after her fieldwork.

Group: Genius Scientist & Alien Who Breaks First Contact Rules to Prevent Them Destroying The Planet
I love genius scientists, both in fiction and in real life, and this scenario cracks me up. What’s the genius scientist doing that’s going to destroy the planet? Is it something they know is dangerous, or is it something innocuous that they accidentally stray into and are completely surprised to find out was about to result in catastrophe? How does the alien find out about the impending doom? Are they stationed on human-monitoring duty? Are they a grad student in the scientist’s lab, sent there undercover to keep an eye on this unstable, brilliant human?
I’m not wedded to any specific prompts, if you have an alternate idea. But here are a few of my ideas:
• Why does the alien have to break first-contact rules to avert apocalypse?
• What’s the scientist’s reaction to sudden first contact with an alien? Does all of that have to get shoved aside to deal with the crisis? Or does the crisis suddenly recede in importance as they start geeking out over the fact that there’s extraterrestrial life?
• What exactly does the alien do to avert planetary destruction? Is it as simple as identifying themselves in order to convince the scientist of their authority to diagnose the gravity of the situation? Or do they have to do something like take over all the scientist’s equipment in an unexplainable way, and pay the piper afterwards?
• One thing I’d enjoy is a non-traditional format, such as a mission report authored by the alien or a scholarly article written by the scientist.
• The scientist is persuaded to change their activity/practices to avert destruction, but they negotiate for a trip to the alien’s homeworld as the price of their ongoing silence. For science.
• Plot twist – this all actually happened x hundred years ago, and the genius scientist in question was Archimedes/Zhang Heng/Leonardo da Vinci/Ada Lovelace/etc.

Two of my favorite movies this past year have been Wonder Woman and Black Panther. I would absolutely love to read a story in which Diana fell in love with Nakia!
A few ideas:
• AU in which Diana doesn’t leave Themyscira (or returns there after the events of Wonder Woman), and Nakia finds it in the present day (either before or after Black Panther).
• Diana is after Klaue for reasons of her own, encounters the trio in South Korea, and ends up back in Wakanda (either with or without their knowledge). How does her presence change events?
• AU in which T’Challa does die in the fight with Killmonger, M’Baku refuses to get involved, and Nakia is the last hope for Wakanda. But she has Diana on her side (either in an established relationship or as a new ally who she’s falling in love with), so she has hope.
• Arranged-marriage AU in which Wakanda and Themyscira, hidden powerhouses of the world, seal their alliance with a Diana/Nakia marriage.
• Nakia and Diana are both undercover fighting a common enemy (but they don’t know that, at least at first). As they go after the villain, they are slowly falling in love with each other.
• Diana and Nakia fall in love while trying to save the world from Thanos.
• Diana and Nakia, in an established relationship, trade stories about their lives/cultures/families/etc.
• What would a Diana/Nakia wedding look like?
• Diana and Nakia, in an established relationship, have an adventure/solve a mystery/save the world together.
Request-specific notes:
• I haven’t seen any DCEU except for Wonder Woman. I have no interest in Batman, Superman, etc., or in canon events from any DCEU movies except WW. I do however adore Themyscira and the Amazons (including Antiope, who you are more than welcome to AU alive).
• While I don’t dislike Steve Trevor, I’d prefer in this exchange for him not to be focused on. (For example, an angsty fic in which Diana contrasted her new relationship with Nakia with her lost love Steve is not one that appeals to me.)
• I love all the Wakandan Black Panther characters, so feel free to include any/all of them. I’m not interested in non-Wakandan characters from the MCU (exception: Sam Wilson), except as passing mentions in a Thanos-related plot.
• As far as Nakia/T’Challa’s relationship goes, I’m fine with either an AU in which they never dated, or a story in which they’re affectionate, friendly exes but have moved on and aren’t angsting about it.

I just absolutely love the idea of these two powerhouse princesses falling in love with each other. They would be hilarious, and so full of energy! And with Leia’s command and diplomatic experience added to Shuri’s genius, they’d be an unstoppable team if anything stood in their way (like Thanos or the Empire).
A few ideas:
• How do Leia and Shuri meet? Does one of Shuri’s experiments go wrong and send her whirling through the universe until she lands in the middle of Leia’s Rebel base? Does Leia’s ship fall into a wormhole while fleeing Imperial pursuit, and when she promptly scans the nearest planet for the most intelligent lifeforms, her scans lead her straight to Shuri’s lab?
• What does Leia and Shuri’s flirting look like? When do their friends/relatives realize what’s going on? How do Luke and T’Challa get along?
• Leia and Shuri fall in love while having an adventure/solving a mystery/defeating Thanos and/or the Empire. (Or established-relationship is great too.)
• Leia and Shuri are both fighting a common enemy. As they go after the villain, they are slowly falling in love with each other.
• Who makes the first move? What’s their first kiss like?
• Leia and Shuri celebrate Thanos/the Emperor’s defeat.

I absolutely adore both Shuri and T’Challa, and I loved their relationship in Black Panther. There wasn’t a moment the two of them were on screen bantering with each other in which I didn’t have a huge smile on my face. They’re adorable, and hilarious, and just perfect.
Basically I just want more Shuri & T’Challa! Anything canon-style with the two of them sounds awesome. I’m not wedded to any specific prompts, if you have an alternate idea. But here are a few of my ideas:
• T’Challa gets himself in a pickle, and Shuri has to save the day. Of course she’s not really going to let him hear the end of it for a while.
• T’Challa plays a prank on Shuri, and it takes Shuri by surprise because she’s usually the one playing pranks on him.
• Shuri becomes Golden Jaguar, and she and T’Challa train together.
• T’Challa has a crush on M’Baku or Sam Wilson, and Shuri teases him about it (and maybe helps him out in her own way).
• Shuri and T’Challa have an adventure/solve a mystery/defeat Thanos together.
• The first time kid!Shuri got the better of her big brother.
• Shuri knows way more about the outside world than T’Challa does, and she occasionally uses that knowledge to play jokes on him/make him look a little silly. (Fashion, maybe? Teaching him wrong slang/memes? Etc.)
• Outside POV from M’Baku or Sam Wilson on the siblings’ relationship. Bonus points for incomprehensible but obviously hilarious inside jokes that Shuri and T’Challa have with each other.
• Five times T’Challa and Shuri got their sibling out of trouble, and one time they solved the trouble together. (Or any five times story, really.)
• AU in which T’Challa is in a prolonged coma after he’s defeated by Killmonger, and he wakes up to find a world in which his loved ones worked together to defeat Killmonger, and Shuri is now Queen (and maybe Black Panther, or perhaps Nakia or Okoye is Black Panther).

Alien Anthropologist Living Undercover While Studying Oblivious Humans
What is it like to study humanity from the outside? What are things that humanity takes for granted that look exceptionally strange to the anthropologist’s culture? What aspect of humanity does the anthropologist’s scholarly project focus on? Are there any different academic norms in alien-anthropology than there are in ours? What’s their cover story? Just how oblivious are the humans?
I’m not wedded to any specific prompts, if you have an alternate idea. But here are a few of my ideas:
• What does a day in the life of the alien anthropologist look like? What are their daily struggles/the hardest things to get used to when living undercover among humans?
• Who are the oblivious humans in this equation? Are they coworkers the anthropologist encounters while using their undercover identity? (What job might the anthropologist be working to maintain their cover?) What slip does the anthropologist make that demonstrates just how oblivious the humans are?
• Does something happen that blows the anthropologist’s cover, or forces them to drop it in order to save the day/the oblivious humans/their own skin?
• What human things does the anthropologist end up rather liking? (Cats? Rain? Passive-aggressiveness? Malicious compliance in a retail setting? Nutella?)
• The anthropologist’s favorite human accidentally stumbles into the truth about the anthropologist, and now they have to escape/outwit/defeat an enemy (either human or alien).
• The anthropologist and her wife (an anthropologist – or archaeologist? – on a different planet) swap stories about the strange turns their week has taken.
• I would also love a story written in the form of an academic article the anthropologist is submitting after her fieldwork.

Group: Genius Scientist & Alien Who Breaks First Contact Rules to Prevent Them Destroying The Planet
I love genius scientists, both in fiction and in real life, and this scenario cracks me up. What’s the genius scientist doing that’s going to destroy the planet? Is it something they know is dangerous, or is it something innocuous that they accidentally stray into and are completely surprised to find out was about to result in catastrophe? How does the alien find out about the impending doom? Are they stationed on human-monitoring duty? Are they a grad student in the scientist’s lab, sent there undercover to keep an eye on this unstable, brilliant human?
I’m not wedded to any specific prompts, if you have an alternate idea. But here are a few of my ideas:
• Why does the alien have to break first-contact rules to avert apocalypse?
• What’s the scientist’s reaction to sudden first contact with an alien? Does all of that have to get shoved aside to deal with the crisis? Or does the crisis suddenly recede in importance as they start geeking out over the fact that there’s extraterrestrial life?
• What exactly does the alien do to avert planetary destruction? Is it as simple as identifying themselves in order to convince the scientist of their authority to diagnose the gravity of the situation? Or do they have to do something like take over all the scientist’s equipment in an unexplainable way, and pay the piper afterwards?
• One thing I’d enjoy is a non-traditional format, such as a mission report authored by the alien or a scholarly article written by the scientist.
• The scientist is persuaded to change their activity/practices to avert destruction, but they negotiate for a trip to the alien’s homeworld as the price of their ongoing silence. For science.
• Plot twist – this all actually happened x hundred years ago, and the genius scientist in question was Archimedes/Zhang Heng/Leonardo da Vinci/Ada Lovelace/etc.

Two of my favorite movies this past year have been Wonder Woman and Black Panther. I would absolutely love to read a story in which Diana fell in love with Nakia!
A few ideas:
• AU in which Diana doesn’t leave Themyscira (or returns there after the events of Wonder Woman), and Nakia finds it in the present day (either before or after Black Panther).
• Diana is after Klaue for reasons of her own, encounters the trio in South Korea, and ends up back in Wakanda (either with or without their knowledge). How does her presence change events?
• AU in which T’Challa does die in the fight with Killmonger, M’Baku refuses to get involved, and Nakia is the last hope for Wakanda. But she has Diana on her side (either in an established relationship or as a new ally who she’s falling in love with), so she has hope.
• Arranged-marriage AU in which Wakanda and Themyscira, hidden powerhouses of the world, seal their alliance with a Diana/Nakia marriage.
• Nakia and Diana are both undercover fighting a common enemy (but they don’t know that, at least at first). As they go after the villain, they are slowly falling in love with each other.
• Diana and Nakia fall in love while trying to save the world from Thanos.
• Diana and Nakia, in an established relationship, trade stories about their lives/cultures/families/etc.
• What would a Diana/Nakia wedding look like?
• Diana and Nakia, in an established relationship, have an adventure/solve a mystery/save the world together.

• I haven’t seen any DCEU except for Wonder Woman. I have no interest in Batman, Superman, etc., or in canon events from any DCEU movies except WW. I do however adore Themyscira and the Amazons (including Antiope, who you are more than welcome to AU alive).
• While I don’t dislike Steve Trevor, I’d prefer in this exchange for him not to be focused on. (For example, an angsty fic in which Diana contrasted her new relationship with Nakia with her lost love Steve is not one that appeals to me.)

I just absolutely love the idea of these two powerhouse princesses falling in love with each other. They would be hilarious, and so full of energy! And with Leia’s command and diplomatic experience added to Shuri’s genius, they’d be an unstoppable team if anything stood in their way (like Thanos or the Empire).
A few ideas:
• How do Leia and Shuri meet? Does one of Shuri’s experiments go wrong and send her whirling through the universe until she lands in the middle of Leia’s Rebel base? Does Leia’s ship fall into a wormhole while fleeing Imperial pursuit, and when she promptly scans the nearest planet for the most intelligent lifeforms, her scans lead her straight to Shuri’s lab?
• What does Leia and Shuri’s flirting look like? When do their friends/relatives realize what’s going on? How do Luke and T’Challa get along?
• Leia and Shuri fall in love while having an adventure/solving a mystery/defeating Thanos and/or the Empire. (Or established-relationship is great too.)
• Leia and Shuri are both fighting a common enemy. As they go after the villain, they are slowly falling in love with each other.
• Who makes the first move? What’s their first kiss like?
• Leia and Shuri celebrate Thanos/the Emperor’s defeat.
• Leia really likes Shuri’s tech, and/or Shuri really likes the tech in Leia’s universe. Maybe Shuri makes Leia a suit, or sets her up with a remote-piloted podracer!
• Leia and Shuri’s wedding, with all of Wakanda and the Rebel Alliance in attendance.

I absolutely adore both Shuri and T’Challa, and I loved their relationship in Black Panther. There wasn’t a moment the two of them were on screen bantering with each other in which I didn’t have a huge smile on my face. They’re adorable, and hilarious, and just perfect.
Basically I just want more Shuri & T’Challa! Anything canon-style with the two of them sounds awesome. I’m not wedded to any specific prompts, if you have an alternate idea. But here are a few of my ideas:
• T’Challa gets himself in a pickle, and Shuri has to save the day. Of course she’s not really going to let him hear the end of it for a while.
• T’Challa plays a prank on Shuri, and it takes Shuri by surprise because she’s usually the one playing pranks on him.
• Shuri becomes Golden Jaguar, and she and T’Challa train together.
• T’Challa has a crush on M’Baku or Sam Wilson, and Shuri teases him about it (and maybe helps him out in her own way).
• Shuri and T’Challa have an adventure/solve a mystery/defeat Thanos together.
• The first time kid!Shuri got the better of her big brother.
• Shuri knows way more about the outside world than T’Challa does, and she occasionally uses that knowledge to play jokes on him/make him look a little silly. (Fashion, maybe? Teaching him wrong slang/memes? Etc.)
• Outside POV from M’Baku or Sam Wilson on the siblings’ relationship. Bonus points for incomprehensible but obviously hilarious inside jokes that Shuri and T’Challa have with each other.
• Five times T’Challa and Shuri got their sibling out of trouble, and one time they solved the trouble together. (Or any five times story, really.)
• AU in which T’Challa is in a prolonged coma after he’s defeated by Killmonger, and he wakes up to find a world in which his loved ones worked together to defeat Killmonger, and Shuri is now Queen (and maybe Black Panther, or perhaps Nakia or Okoye is Black Panther).
