I’m requesting three fandoms – NFL RPF, Original Work, and Marvel Cinematic Universe – but I’m splitting my NFL RPF into several parts because I have different kinks for different ships. So my overall slate looks like this:

General NFL RPF comments

As should be clear from my requests, I am a massive Vikings fan. We’re immensely lucky because the Vikings are extremely good to their fans and we get regular looks into their awesome locker room dynamic via Brian Robison’s “96 Questions” series, along with other series like “Words With Teammates”. In 96 Questions, Brian Robison (the eponymous #96) asks his teammates a new question every week of the season, from “who on the team is the best cuddler?”, to “who on the team has the best legs?”, to “who on the team would you most/least like to date your sister?”, and so, so much more. The series is so much fun, and pretty much every single guy on the team is a hoot. There’s so much respect and teasing and humor and brotherly love flying around the locker room, and it makes my heart grow three sizes. :) I’ve put together a master episode list for 96 Questions with handy-dandy links, and it’s here.

I honestly love pretty much every guy on the team. I tried listing my top favorites, and once it got to 20 names I gave up. Probably my top five, chosen with great agony, are Teddy Bridgewater, Jet McKinnon, Everson Griffen, Stefon Diggs, and Eric Kendricks. So AB and Zay went to the same highschool (a couple years apart) and have been close friends ever since. They train together in the offseason and have the highest mutual respect. This year in a rare on-field matchup (only the second time they’ve faced each other, the first time coming in Zay’s rookie season), they spent the whole game being competitive and giggly. (Seriously. AB was mic’d up, and you can check it out. Zay largely won the battle, apart from one crazy Tony Toe Tap catch, but the Steelers won the game.) They’re both in the top five in the NFL at their position, and they know it.

I love their dynamic with each other, in all its respect and competitiveness and affection and laughter (I love the two of them at the Pro Bowl, when Zay came over to jump all over AB!), and I’d love to see it taken to the next level. Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks were college roommates and best friends at UCLA, and were drafted one year apart by the Vikings (they’re actually almost exactly the same age, but Eric redshirted his first year). I adore Teddy. He’s such a genuine, sweet, funny guy, and he’s had such a great attitude after his horrific knee dislocation. It takes a special person to be a beloved team leader even while you’re sidelined for two seasons. Especially this past year when we went to the playoffs and had the Miracle and were trying to get to our home-stadium Super Bowl, and Teddy had to stay on the sidelines and be a loyal cheerleader, when every bone in his body must have been screaming for him to get out on the field. If we don’t re-sign him this offseason I’m going to be heartbroken.

So I would love to read about a universe where he’s happy and in love (and preferably playing great on the field!) Either an alternate universe where the injury didn’t happen, or a 2018 season in which he’s been re-signed and is back as the starting quarterback, would both be great. Or falling in love during his injured seasons would work too, though I’d prefer not too much injury-related angst. I just want Teddy to be happy and beloved. (And on the Vikings – I’d rather not read a story in which he’s left Minnesota.)

I couldn’t pick a reasonable number of ships here – I love basically the entire Vikings team – so I nommed it with “Any Vikings Player”. Some of my top faves besides Teddy are Jet McKinnon, Dalvin Cook, Stefon Diggs, Everson Griffen, Latavius Murray, Xavier Rhodes, Ifeadi Odenigbo, Stacy Coley, Aviante Collins, Eric Kendricks, and Anthony Barr. But if you have another fave I’d love to read that too! For married players, I’d prefer an AU in which they’re single over an open relationship or cheating fic. Same goes for Teddy (who IRL is still with the girl he fell in love with freshman year of highschool).

This original work ship request is as straightforward as it looks – a NFL player in love. I’m pretty flexible on everything else. Maybe you want to have the player’s boyfriend be another NFL player (on the same team or a different team), or maybe he’s a professional athlete in another sport, or maybe he’s a med student or an equipment manager or a professional videographer or another contestant the NFL player meets on Dancing With The Stars, or – you get the idea.

I’d be equally happy with a falling-in-love fic or an established-relationship fic. I love coming-out fics, and hot athletic smut, and dorky flirting, and sexy banter, and cute tender cuddling, and friends to lovers. I’m a huge football fan, so football being included would be awesome, but it’s not a must. I also love team dynamics and locker-room teasing, and the team knowing and approving of (but of course teasing) the couple would be fun.
